Meet #OYGHero Deshundra Jefferson! As the need for masks became more apparent – and the shortage of PPE for medical personnel became more pronounced – Deshundra helped organize a group of 30 sewers and those who wanted to assist in making free masks available to first responders, essential personnel, immunocompromised individuals, and low-income families.

To date, #SewWoodbridge has raised over $3,000 for their efforts and have distributed free masks to the greater Prince William County community, including but not limited to: Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center, ACTS, the Boys & Girl’s Club, Potomac Place Assisted Living, and the Bill Mehr Drop In Center.
