Continuing this week’s theme of #OYGHero super duos, meet Gisela & Dr. Ramfis Marquez!  This husband and wife team have been going the extra mile to support their community.

When the COVID-19 virus first hit, Gisela taught herself how to sew and began cranking out masks.  She has made and donated hundreds of masks already, and uses 100% of any donations she receives to buy more supplies to make more!

Ramfis is the Director of Behavioral Health at a local clinic and quickly saw the negative impact the virus was creating as certain patients were going hungry every day.  He quickly conceptualized and developed a food pantry program at the clinic, where patients are encouraged to help themselves – at no charge!

The only thing better than an #OYGHero is a pair of #OYGHeroes!  Thank you for what you do!
